Bayer shares up 10 percent

Bayer CropScience stock ended with more than 10 percent gain, on a day when the Sensex ended 174 points in the red. Having started the day at Rs. 498, the stock touched its 52 week high of Rs. 568 during the day before closing trade at Rs. 547.55, up 10.59 percent from its previous close of Rs. 495.10. Through the day, 337,945 shares of Bayer were traded in the market with the current P/E ratio of the stock at 18.32.
